Priced as low as $17.99 over spot!

The Mexican Gold 50 Peso is the largest of the Mexican Gold coins, and carries a much lower premium than the Gold Libertads. Because Mexico gained independence from Spain in 1821, the Gold 50 Peso is often referred to as the “Centenario”. Mexican Gold 50 Pesos are a popular low premium World Gold coin for precious metals collectors.

Each 50 Peso contains 1.2057 oz of Gold and were designed by Emilio del Moral. Issued by the Mexican Mint, La Casa de Moneda de Mexico, between 1921 and 1931 and then again from 1943 to 1972, the majority of Mexican 50 Pesos minted were restrikes of the 1947 coin.

The Mexican Mint was the first mint in the Americas and has consistently represented Mesoamerican and Colonial history on their Gold coins. The 50 Peso design is the Gold Eagle perched on a cactus with the Mexican National Coat of Arms on the obverse. The reverse has the classic Winged Victory, the “Angel of Independence” design, also found on the Libertads.

Mexican 1 oz Gold Libertad – Random Year

Priced as low as $79.99 over spot.

The Mexican 1 oz Gold Libertad is a beautiful Gold coin with historic Mexican imagery. The Gold Libertads are extremely popular with World Gold collectors due to their limited mintage and unique design. In 2016, only 4,800 1 oz Gold Libertads were minted by Bando de México and their limited mintage means they are rarely seen in North America, thus commanding a strong premium.

These Gold Libertad design features the Mexican National Shield surrounded by a variety of historic coats of Mexican arms on the obverse side of the coin. The reverse features the beautiful “Winged Victory” in front of the famous Mexican volcanoes, Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl in the background.

The Gold Libertads are 1 troy oz coins struck in .999 fine Gold. Limited mintage of Gold Libertads make them highly desirable by both collectors, but also results in higher premiums than 1 oz Gold coins from other countries such as the U.S. and Canada.

These 1 oz Mexican Gold Libertad coins are hand selected by the team at Fisher Precious Metals and the year and design are our choice.

French Gold 20 Francs Lucky Angel (AU)

The French Gold 20 Francs Lucky Angel has a long and storied history. Produced by the Paris Mint, these coins came to be known as “Lucky Angels”. It is speculated that these French 20 Francs are termed “Lucky Angels” as a result of the designer, Augustin Dupre, and his escape from the guillotine by the bribing of a guard with one of these Gold coins.

The story became legend and many around Europe, including Napoleon Bonaparte, would keep one of these coins on their person for good luck. Now you too can have a bit of luck whether you are and investor or collector by adding these 20 Franc Angels to your precious metals portfolio.

These coins are most often bought by collectors that enjoy adding historic coins to their Gold collection.

French Gold 20 Francs Rooster AU (Random)

The French Gold 20 Francs Rooster AU is a classic Gold French coin, recognized worldwide. Produced at the Paris mint, one of the oldest institutions in France, the French 20 Franc Rooster is arguably one of the most beautiful of the French Francs. These Gold 20 Francs were minted from 1899 until 1914.

These Gold 20 Francs are 90% Gold and contain .1867 ounce of actual Gold weight. These coins are not a full troy oz like modern day Gold bullion coins.

The image on the obverse side of the French 20 Franc Rooster is of Marianne, Goddess of Liberty and is symbolic of the French Republic. The reverse side is a stunning depiction of a Gallic Rooster, regal in its appearance and posture.

These coins are better suited for the collector, or someone looking to add historic variety to their precious metals collection. If you are looking to purchase sovereign mainstream Gold bullion coins, we suggest you consider the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf pure Gold coins instead.

Add a bit of history to your precious metals portfolio with these French 20 Franc gold coins.

South African 1 oz Gold Krugerrand – Random Year

The South African 1 oz Gold Krugerrand is classically designed and internationally recognized and traded throughout the world. The 1 oz Gold Krugerrand coin depicts two iconic South African figures, the Springbok antelope and the profile of Paul Kruger, the past South African President.

The 1 oz South African Krugerrand was the first one ounce denominated gold coin in the world. It was first minted in 1967. Later, in 1980, the South African Mint began minting fractional Krugerrands in half ounce, quarter ounce and tenth ounce sizes. Since its inception, more than 50 million Krugerrands of various sizes have been minted.

The 1 oz Krugerrands hold their value more consistently than any of the other World Gold coins due to their international trading volumes and liquidity.

1 oz Chinese Gold Panda – Random Year

Priced as low as $89.99 per coin over spot!

In 2016 the China Gold Coin Corp. changed all of their Gold Panda coins to metric measurements. This is a 1 oz Chinese Gold Panda coin from 2015 or earlier in BU condition. The unique aspect of Chinese Gold Panda coins is that they change designs every year (with the exception on 2001 and 2002), offering bullion investors unique coins to add to their precious metals portfolio every year.

The historical inspiration for the design of the Gold Panda is the Temple of Heaven. The Temple was completed in 1420 and was built by the Yongle Emperor. He was responsible for the construction of multiple temples, including those of the the Earth, Moon, and Sun. The Temple of Heaven was built specifically with the focus of prayer for fruitful harvests.

The reverse of the coin is the side that changes over the years, but always depicts the well loved Chinese Panda in its natural habitat.

British Gold Sovereign – Random Year

For nearly 200 years, the English Sovereign, now known as the British Gold Sovereign has been produced by the British Royal Mint. Known as the flagship coin of the Royal Mint, the Sovereigns are well known for their classic design. This British Gold Sovereign Random Year is from various years 2016 and earlier. The 2017 British Gold Sovereign is a special edition coin that differs from this sovereign with a unique MintMark.

The British Gold Sovereign is .2354 troy ounces in weight and is 91.67% pure Gold. The obverse pictures Queen Elizabeth II in profile while the reverse, designed by Benedetto Pistrucci, shows a mounted St. George slaying a dragon.

Recognized as one of the most established and oldest financial institutions in the world, the Royal Mint began producing coins for England. The Mint then began minting coins for Great Britain over 1,100 years ago. Many other countries have contracted with the Royal Mint to produce and export their various coins.
