Platinum coins are the most popular form of platinum for bullion investors. Our clients have begun to buy platinum coins in greater quantities due to the current spot price being lower than that of gold.
Coins refer to any platinum product produced by a government mint such as the U.S. Mint, the Royal Canadian Mint, the Austrian Mint and the Perth Mint. Each of these government mints produce beautiful platinum coins, alongside their gold and silver coin counterparts. The favored platinum coin designs are the American Eagle, the Canadian Maple Leaf, the Philharmonic and the Australian Koala.
The platinum Eagle is uniquely different in design from the gold and silver American Eagles, as the design on the reverse side of the coin changes every year. The Canadian Platinum Maple Leaf design aligns with that of the gold and silver Maple Leaf coins.
