1 oz Chinese Gold Panda – Random Year
Priced as low as $89.99 per coin over spot!
In 2016 the China Gold Coin Corp. changed all of their Gold Panda coins to metric measurements. This is a 1 oz Chinese Gold Panda coin from 2015 or earlier in BU condition. The unique aspect of Chinese Gold Panda coins is that they change designs every year (with the exception on 2001 and 2002), offering bullion investors unique coins to add to their precious metals portfolio every year.
The historical inspiration for the design of the Gold Panda is the Temple of Heaven. The Temple was completed in 1420 and was built by the Yongle Emperor. He was responsible for the construction of multiple temples, including those of the the Earth, Moon, and Sun. The Temple of Heaven was built specifically with the focus of prayer for fruitful harvests.
The reverse of the coin is the side that changes over the years, but always depicts the well loved Chinese Panda in its natural habitat.
