Delays on physical silver are getting longer – and it will get worse.  For example, one of the country’s largest wholesale distributors for all of the world mints and largest refiners reports the following delays:
  • 1 oz. rounds – October 27th at the earliest, until as late as December 3rd
  • 10 oz bars – December 3rd
  • 2015 Silver Eagles – November 3rd
  • 2015 Silver Maple Leafs – December 1st at the absolute earliest
  • 100 oz silver bars – October 27th
And this is just the beginning.  In early December the world mints will stop production to retool for 2016 production.  No Eagles, Maples, or Philharmonics for approximately 6 weeks.  When that happens, silver buyers will panic even more than they are today.  Premiums will rise even further.  Eagles and Maples will be more than $5 over spot.  1 oz. rounds will be north of $2 over spot at a minimum.  Delays will be 2 months minimum – possibly 3-4 months.
All Things Considered – John’s Commentary:
I am not employing a scare tactic.  I have been doing this for 20 years and I can see that things will only get worse.
If you want silver delivered this year, certainly before December, at relatively acceptable premiums, I urge you to order now and get yourself into the delivery queue before things get much, much worse.
