The Royal Canadian Mint limited the mintage on the Superman coin to only 1 million coins. As a result, this special release coin has sold well since the moment it was release.

All Clark Kent Superman fans own one of these Silver coins. The Superman Shield adorns the reverse side of this coin with radial lines behind the shield. The classic design of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt can be found on the obverse.
